Up for something new and meaningful this summer? Be part of our camp where you’ll spend eight days learning more about Thailand, sustainability, social enterprise, palaeontology, and INDIE (INclusion, DIversity, Equity)

)Our office is organising an international youth camp entitled “MSU INDIE Camp” in August, 2022. We are now accepting applications from non-Thai nationals who are currently studying at higher education institutions in Thailand and abroad. Please kindly spread the news to your connections. Facts about the camp:

What: MSU INDIE Camp is organized by the Office of General Education (GE) of Mahasarakham University (MSU). The camp aims to empower student voice, agency, and leadership through a wide range of activities organized at the camp. Our activities are designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary for their present and future academic and professional endeavours. The students will have opportunities to explore issues related to inclusion, diversity, and equity. Their contributions and commitment to the program will enable MSU to establish a network of youth leaders who work together towards promoting inclusion, diversity, and equity. These youth leaders will be encouraged to embrace a global mindset while treasuring their local identities.

When: August 1-8, 2022

Where: Mahasarakham University (Maha Sarakham) and Buriram, Thailand

We welcome undergraduate students who hope to explore more about their talents, shortcomings, and identities while discovering ways to promote values of inclusion, diversity, and equity

in different contexts.

INDIE stands for inclusion, diversity, and equity.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. A current MSU student

2. Have a good command of English

3. Be able to participate in the entire program, participating in the activities at MSU on August 1-4, traveling to Buriram on August 5-8 and returning to Maha Sarakham or returning to their home institution/country from Buriram Airport on August 8.

4. Demonstrate leadership, solidarity, and social maturity by being actively involved in community or university activities

5. Show skills and achievements beyond the area of academics

6. Demonstrate interest in promoting inclusion, diversity, and equity in higher education

Please note that the selected applicant will be granted the scholarship which covers the following expenses:

SCHOLARSHIP VALUE/INCLUSIONS
